It is fun but crashes a lot and the Vive must be run in extended mode (pain in the ass to get working) and no motion controls yet. I believe there is a new, updated HL2 VR mod coming - I hope it fixes the issues and allows motion controls. Edit: It is the Synergy mod, found just by searching for it on the Steam store.

My guess is no at launch and super unlikely thereafter since co-op mods for single player games often have to alter so much of the game to work in the first place; then trying to layer another thing on top of that with the VR mod would probably break a lot.
